February 14, 2026  Day 52

We’re still thoroughly enjoying our time in the Exumas. We hiked along the art trail, which led us to a different part of the island and the most beautiful sandbar. Once again, my cell phone photos and videos just don’t do it justice. There were a few picnic tables and pavilions scattered around, and we saw one family who had brought a grill and were having a cookout—simply enjoying this pretty, private slice of paradise.

I even managed to get in a little extra exercise. 🙃

We also hiked up to Monument Park, where we captured another beautiful video overlooking the island and Coconut Beach Club. We saw a beautiful fan coral.

Last night, Ron and Shelly invited us over to their boat for appetizers, and Jessica and Scott were there too—such a fun evening! Afterward, we headed to movie night to watch Maiden, the incredible story of how Tracy Edwards assembled the first all-female crew to compete in a round-the-world sailing race. It was truly inspiring.

And once again, we had to make a return trip to the boat because I left our jackets on deck… so putt, putt, putt we went in our little dinghy. I really need to stop doing that eye roll! Happy Valentines Day!
